A Ball, in the Air, in the Infield
A ball hit on the fly, staying in the infield, is generally going to come in a couple of flavors: a line drive hit to an infielder1, or a nice towering pop-up. This almost always means the ball is going to be caught for an out, but it’s baseball, so there are definitely exceptions.
